Amanda DiGiondomenico is a multidisciplinary storyteller whose work is inspired by the tropical landscapes of the Pacific Islands, the food and culture of her Filipino-Italian upbringing, and the magic that can be found in everyday rituals. Born and raised in Baltimore, Amanda now calls Annapolis home, where the historic waterfront and pastel houses fuel her creative practice.

Amanda began her journey at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), but she soon realized she needed a broader toolkit. She transferred to UMBC, earning her bachelor’s degree in Communications and finding an interest in multimedia storytelling. Never one to follow a straight path, she then pursued a master’s in Creative Writing at Johns Hopkins University, where she honed her narrative voice, and to round out her visual sensibility, she completed a certificate in Graphic Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD).

Beyond the classroom, Amanda’s eclectic professional background informs every facet of her work. Her career has found her perfecting an espresso shot as a barista in a cozy French cafe, baking pies and quiches in a "rock 'n roll" pie shop, developing an eye for color and form as a floral assistant, and learning more about the world of fandom as an interactive producer for the Travel Channel—creating immersive online experiences for fans of Ghost Adventures, among other popular shows.

Today, Amanda merges her diverse background and experiences into a unique creative vision—whether she’s illustrating a children’s book, developing a brand identity, or mapping out her next graphic novel—with a focus on clear storytelling, purposeful design, and thoughtful detail.

"Amanda was a pleasure to work with. She understood the scope, feel and look of the project immediately and provided valuable feedback. I ended up deferring to her for most of the scene ideas and her creative instincts where spot on. It was such a nice experience working with Amanda that I've already recommended her to my colleague video producers working for Martha Stewart Weddings, and they also agree--she's fantastic to work with! I would highly recommend using her and I plan on working with her again the first chance I get."
